What does a product have to do to become a Staple of mine?
Great question with a simple answer.
A product has to perform so well that when it becomes empty I don’t even think about what other product should I try next. I automatically come to the conclusion that I have to go pick up that same product. So, for the items I have listed I used it till it was completely empty and did not replace it with another brand of product. I fell in Love.
This Creme of Nature Duo was purchased during my second batch of natural hair products. Everyone was on that Sulfate Free kick and so I went searching for one. I gave this company a chance because I used them as a child because of their great detangling properties.
This Sulfate Free shampoo is like “Liquid Gold”. The product smells awesome but still has that Creme of Nature signature smell that I love. The 2 best things that this product has to offer is its detangling abilities and the amount of moisture it brings to your hair. I don’t have to detangle before using this product because it does it for me. It literally melts all the tangles away. The shampoo also gives me mad shine and restorative look after each use.
The Intensive Conditioning Treatment is NO JOKE! I give all the props to this conditioner when it comes to how I got my hair so soft. In about a month my hair felt totally different from what it used to be before this product. Any time I washed my hair I followed up with it. Even though it is clearly a Deep Conditioner I used it as though it was a regular conditioner.
The Curl Enhancing Smoothie was my 1st all natural hair product purchase. Before trying this out I was using Cantu’s Curling Creme but just wasn’t totally sold on it. I tried this out and fell in love. The scent of it is pure paradise and the ingredients are incredible. My signature hair style is the Wash and Go and let me tell you this product brought my hair doo to a different level. My hair was moisturized and the curls were popping. The product is not too heavy so it left my hair light and fluffy. It also has a light hold to it allowing it to have great bounce. A little of this product goes along way. One jar can usually last me an entire season. If I buy one early Spring I don’t have to buy another one till the beginning of Summer.
The Olive Oil Eco Styler Gel was the first gel I bought as a natural. I learned that it was alcohol free and that this particular one was a favorite in the natural hair community. I like the hold it has. It claims to have a level 10 hold but I disagree but the hold is perfect for me. I have not had to buy another jar since my first jar because I have not ran out yet. Goes to show you that a little goes a long way. Even though I have not repurchased yet I already know that I don’t want to replace it with any other gel at this point.
